I know most people in public health would agree with me that one of the most serious issues that plague healthcare systems today is inequitable access to services. A sophisticated healthcare institution, special education center, psychiatric rehabilitation center or a hospice in the United States bolstered with philanthropic funding in addition to a successful revenue model may all have one thing in common - the presence of a creative arts program aimed at therapeutic gain, and perhaps even a board-certified music therapist. On the other side of the globe, one encounters robust third-world economies with healthcare infrastructure focused on development, tropical medicine and primary care. These countries are just about groping to find the means to empower their healthy population through the creation of equitable access, affordable care and efficient delivery models. The picture continues to look grim for vulnerable populations, urban or rural, such as the mentally and/or physically challenged, the profoundly diseased and the terminally ill. These populations have one thing in common universally– there is very little that medicine can do to improve their lives, let alone offer a permanent cure. Several of my board members were at a meeting earlier this past week at VSA Arts (a Kennedy Center Affiliate) in Washington DC to discuss the role of music in wellness and healthcare. Orli Frenkel MD, a key member of our team kept bringing up the issue of access to music, and how we as a team are indeed directing a holistic effort to create channels to either promote or provide for the use of music in well-being, be it through education, performance, or treatment. However, the choice is entirely yours, but there's got to be one! It matters.
Think now.

Mohan Sundaraj hails from a family of fucking proud people
ReplyDelete1) This guy does not have an MD (Doctor of Medicine) Degree only has an MBBS degree from India- so he should not mislead people by using MD degree on his credentials list!
2) Ramachandra Medical College was started by Udayar an illiterate bootlegger involved in crimes and illicit alcohol sales. Though it claims to be affiliated to Harvard, it has nothing to do with Harvard. The diploma is issued by Ramachandra (Deemed or Doomed University) Harvard doesn’t feature anywhere. So stop using Harvard’s name- You never got an MD from Harvard Medical School.
3) Admissions in Ramachandra is purely through loads of money (Capitation Fees) of more than (25 Lakhs) - US $ 50,000 and more per student. There is no place for merit- this guy never got into any merit placement in any medical school.
4) Another wrong claim-he mentions that he is trained in internal medicine which is wrong- he has only a basic MBBS degree, to train in internal medicine one has to have a MD in General Medicine in India.
5) Neither is he Board Certified by ABIM in Internal Medicine. The Board Certification in Music therapy is invalid and it is a bogus credential. It is not officially accredited board by American Board of Medical Specialties.
6) Music therapy never works- look at quackwatch.com for details. It has been disproved time and again music therapy is a hyped-up quack treatment. Top journals like nature have repeatedly proved music therapy does not heal or improve human life, follow link;-

7) Currently this quack- Mohan Sunderaj with a defunct degree MBBS which is not valid as the MD in USA and a masters in public health( which is not a mainstream degree like Internal Medicine, Surgery etc) is ineligible to practice Medicine in USA or India. Even in India he will be a demonstrator or a tutor in a Medical School for his lowly credentials. He can never be an associate or assistant professor.
8) This guy is a bogus sucker showing of with unimpressive ,illicit credentials like Board Certification in Music Therapy, Board Certification in Ear Cleaning etc ):. He is not licensed to practice medicine in America hence he is showing candle light for men who have sex with men- probably he is also gay): Good Bye Musical Faggot !
